Here’s the quick and dirty pattern for my NES cartridge mini pillow.
G hook
Vanna’s choice silver grey
Stuffing
Black yarn
Tapestry or yarn needle
Considering there is no real need to make the size the same there is no gauge. As long as your crochet is tight enough that the stuffing won’t poke through you’ll be fine with any size hook you want.
Make 2
Ch 21
1-20: sc across. Ch 1, turn (20 sc)
21: sl st the first 3 sts. Sc for 14 sts. Ch 1, turn
22-25: sc 14 sts
Border: 3 sc in each corner, dec in each inverse corner. Join with a sl st to the first sc and finish off.
With one of the above pieces, attach yarn to the back loop of any sc. Sc in the BLO of each st. Join with a sl st to the first st. Sc through both loops for two more rows. Finish off. Attach to the second piece by whip stitching into the back loops leaving a big enough hole to stuff. Fill ‘er up as much as you want and close it off.
With the black create the embellishments and face and what not. Older boy suggested I make faces like I did with my BMO doll. I think that is an awesome idea but too lazy to figure it out right now. Perhaps someone else could give it a go?
As always, anything made from my patterns are free to sell. Patterns are free to distribute but please link back and give credit. Let me know if you use this pattern! I’d love to see pictures.
